Go Nurses, makes me proud to be an RN

How many of us see scenes like this every day in our communities across this country! It has to stop, and a clear way to do that is to tax wall street the same way we tax main street!

This is the saddest day for our country! When the Corporations can destroy our country for profit! I say, lets boycott! Then they will feel the burn!

Nurses have the highest credibility--measured by their high degree of trustworthiness by the American people. Many Gallup polls.have placed nurses at the very top of any group--higher than physicians and higher than many other respected professions. Nurses understand and care deeply about people. Let's follow their lead. NURSES ROCK!! Nurses are spot on!

We really don't have to fill the streets. Internet voting can put locus of power in the center of the Public Will - like democracy should be!

Bringing voice to devastation, now is the time to RISE UP, stand up, speak up and ACT. We can not let this continue to happen.

The devastation is eerie, yet reversible with a financial transaction tax on Wall Street speculators. These photos show once-lively structures in our communities, now remembered by their remains. We bear witness to the pain in our neighbors' faces and it hurts. Nurses know the healing power of the dignity of a living-wage job, decent shelter, clean air, pure water, wholesome food, a good education, and access to health care.
If the USA had a signficant Financial Transation Tax on Wall's Street's gambling, we could create the American Dream. We need to join all social movements and stop believing that the elected officials will save us. Wall Street bought them years ago. We will never match their money, but we will overwhelm them in the streets.

Putting real faces on the actual casualties of our suicidal race to corporatism and eventual full plutocracy is refreshingly honest. By putting raw humanity back into the equation you rob the gluttonous corporate beast of one of their fineness and well honed weapons - Their talent for dehumanizing and vilifying their victims. They tap into human natures darkness (jealousy, racism etc etc) to motivate their victims (US!) to actually defeat each other - The natural counter move is doing opposite.
