Anti-Junk Culture at Assumption College of Davao Part 2

If you want to see political will happening, you will find it at Assumption College of Davao. In 1993, the sisters decided to adopt the policy and practice of banning all junk food inside its premises, and moved towards advocating for organic food consumption and healthy lifestyles among students.

Interviewed in this video are Sr. Marietta B. Banayo, m.a., (School President), Sr. Clare Clordearta, m.a., (Sister-in-Charge) and Ms. Leni Repana (Canteen Manager).

Pasalo (Ms. Gie) after the conduct of the 5-day course on Women, Ecology and Development (an elective course leading to the degree of Master of Arts in Humanities major in Women's Studies) jointly sponsored by St. Scholastica's College and Assumption College of Davao last 11 October 2008.
