Thank you all for choosing to view this clip on my channel. It is an honor to become part of a legacy to a great tradition at (Phineas) Banning High School. Live footage from an era is not so easy to come across with one to bring it complete like I do and in the best quality, video and audio, so this is why I share this clip with you.

This is the Marching Pilots of (Phineas) Banning High School. What you will be listening to is multiple renditions by the Pilots, along with a great performance. The Marching Pilots are from the community of Wilmington, CA. This community is in the South Bay Harbor Area of the City of Los Angeles, also known as the Heart of the Harbor, and the high school is the Pride of Wilmington.

There were many great students that shined or made an impact in class as a Marching Pilot. However, I understand many of them never truly got a chance so see a video of themselves. Today, we have an opportunity to do so in full; and, because you chose my channel, I thank you with a full performance of yourself.

Often Imitated, But Never Duplicated.

This is the Phineas Banning High School Marching Pilots of Wilmington, CA. The class of 1992-94's Band, Drill Team, and Tall Flags halftime performance for homecoming (season '91) consist of the following songs: Louie Louie (The Kingsmen), Q Rock, So Glad and the Fight Song; among cadences. For pre-game, the Marching Pilots shares their version of Parade Set. Following Parade Set is the National Anthem: The Star Spangle Banner. I apologize for the video and audio quality but 1991-92 remains unforgettable, so keep this in mind when viewing.

The message below is from one of the first videos I posted when I started to upload:

Beginning with the Drum Major, this individual proudly high-steps to lead the Marching Pilots by example onto the football field during pre-game and skillfully exhibits a remarkable entrance with a phenomenal backbend to begin the homecoming halftime performance. As the band plays Louie Louie for the audience on the bleachers, the ladies wearing sequence evince most significantly in synchronization -- the Drill Team's choreography and the Tall Flag's dynamic twirls. Together, the Marching Pilots put on a great show for the crowd.

We must not ignore another squad that participated. The Cheer and Song Leaders also shared a bit of the spotlight. Varsity Cheer and Song had their game on lock, tight. These young ladies were proud to be a Pilot, cheering and pumping up their audience, and had rhythm. This squad was athletic and competitive. Strength, discipline, and showmanship was a requirement, and these girls gave it their all. Major props to the Pilots!
