I always wondered if it was a real place or if it was a special built lot. That's very cool. I love stuff like this! :)

@birdy100 It's a similar layout to the 'studio' house, except there is no downstairs toilet by the front door. Apart from that the rooms/shape etc is the same. The real house is smaller. They just made the set larger to manage lighting/cameras etc.

@PerfectlyBrokenx What does the real house look like inside?
-
all the places in england just about look the same to me....althought funny I did manage to find my way home when there...but all the houses do look the same :)

At least they've goten rid of all the gnomes.

They also used the back garden & garage in Tresillian Way.
Incidentally the house used in the first series was at Warnford Rd, Boscombe. e.g: 'I'll Retire To Bedlam' & 'The Eternal Quadrangle'.
Other locations used in the series are Christchurch Rd (in the Litterbug feud & two Triumph TR6's scene ), Grand Avenue (Mrs Warboy's hand-granade scene), Wimbourne Rd (Curb crawling scene) & Hillcrest Rd (Victor & old ladies brake down in Mr Sweeney's allegro). Does anyone recognise any more?

Tresillian Close in Christchurch, Dorset.

I was hoping to see Victor and Patrick arguing =[.
They used 'prop' windows, as the real house didn't have a downstairs toilet. They used to hang them on the wall for the exterior shots. This can be seen in several episodes as they change position, and sometimes the neighbouring properties dont have them. You can even see a garden trellis laying below the window in some shots, that they had to take down in order to place the prop window there. :)

It's in a small place called 'Walkford' inbetween Highcliffe and New Milton. On the internet they quote it as 'Mudeford' when infact, Mudeford is several miles away. We used to watch them filming, it was great fun!
