Over 405,000 Americans Died in World War II.

The total estimated human loss of life caused by World War II was between 50 to 60 million people with some estimates as high as 72 million. The civilian death toll was estimated to be as high as 47 million people!

Were it not for the BRAVERY, ENDURANCE, and SACRIFICE of AMERICANS and that of the other allied forces the world as we know it today would not exist. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!

@aclock2 You need to check your dates. America entered World war 2 in 1941, not 1944. We were fighting in the pacific theatre all through 42 and 43 and 44 and into 45. its BS that asians liberated themselves, the US did most of the fighting in the pacific full stop. We also did a high amount of fighting in europe as well. Stop acting like the US did nothing.
