  • El tresero es Ramon Stagnaro

  • I don't get it! Vilato, Recorded to records of his own back in the 70's, both of which I own. They were called Los Kimbos! That was Vilato's project and band. His solo's are all over those albums.

  • Correct, Orestes led Los Kimbos with musical direction by Roberto Rodriguez. This new album is his first solo release under his name. FYI, it will be released Jan 27th, and is entitled "It's About Time" (RAFCA Records).

  • rebeca es una gran musico.

  • They have the big kats in this album.

I was bless in meeting and having

workshops with some musicians here. as a student at Roosevelt High

school, Latin Jazz Band directed by Jose Arellano..

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING AND HUMBLE.

    Justo Almario,Joey De Leon,, Thanks.

  • "Vilato simply the best timbalero."

  • cómo se llama el tresero????

  • Orestes is the man and Johnny Rodriguez is my favorite all time percussionist. These two giants are the Grand Masters of Percussion in my book.

Dandy and Orestes together again! I'm all in there!!

  • A historical recording!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing

  • The album is GREAT!!!! It's a must have.

  • That last album he did with Los Kimbos was probably his worst one, not because of him but because of those around him. He was my idol growing up, and listening to that last album hurt like hell, because I knew what he was capable of.

More power to him for doing this album, BRAVO!

BTW...If anyone thinks that Nicky Marrero was ever better than Vilato...NO WAY. Nicky had the benefit of being in the right crowd at the time. But Vilato still has the chops after all these years.

  • Guys, Los Kimbos was a cooperative band created by some of the members that left Tipica 73 most notable...Orestes and the Great Adalberto Santiago. Los Kimbos broke up when Adalberto went solo.
