2. It's okay to take a peek down there to know whats normal and whats not. You can order a plastic, speculum, mirror, and flashlight from www.fwhc.org, and http://www.fournierhealth.com/index.html offers a self-administered pap.
3. ACOBGYN is a trade union that is more interested in their own personal concerns.
4.Most women in Europe never have one done and they lead healthier lifestyles, and lower teen pregnancy rates.

i agree i am 16 and my first pap smear last week.i didnt want some stranger touching me and looking at me. its my body i should get a say in who can and cant see and touch me and last time i checked i do have that right but when i went to the doctor i was never asked i was told i had to undress and lay down thats it. i will never understand how woman are so ok with strangers looking and touching their bodies. the only person who should see my body besides me should be my future husband.

Great video! The pelvic/ pap smear exam definitely needs to be abolished, because it belongs in the dark ages! I also recommend Laura Shanley's website, she talks about unassisted childbirth (some women even experiencing orgasmic births if left alone).

im glad this video exists. my girlfriend wants to get a pap smear. but i really think its just a way for another man to get in and play around. it makes me sad. its not fair. in the end, im just the boyfriend. i dont even have a say. if shes aloud to get fingered by a male gynecologist, why cant i be aloud to go out and finger a different girl? how much different would that be?

I agree with you. I've long maintained the gyn exam is just an excuse for the male medical fraternity to get their rocks off by probing the genitalia of hot women.

I totally agree, they violate our bodies,making us passive and non-resistant to their 'procedures' and ideologies, we must be good little girls/patients, feeling violated as many females do during and after these procedures makes us dumbed down and humiliated. They are to silence us thru 'shame' and fear of our sexualized parts.I've had two unnassisted births and the birth flow was not interrupted, messed with and controlled in the name of misogyny.*****

I agree with everything you've said. I've said that gyn exams are the most pointless, barbaric procedures for years. Doctors really do like to treat womanhood like it's a disease. The only thing that pisses me off more than the "need" for yearly pelvic exams is the fact that most women just accept this crap. Hopefully, one day, ALL women will be as knowledgeable as you. This video should be circulated around the web ASAP.

I passed out and went to the er where I said no, but they kinda talked me into it. They found nothing. I'am glad to see a mother of teens that wouldn't allow that
