To me, punk was about anything everyone thinks of punk nowadays. Leather jackets, stripped down rock, 2 minute songs, rejection of massive production bands including the Rock N' Roll music (sometimes), colored hair, punk attitude, studded bracelets. There's much more.

Nowadays, each of the things I mentioned are torn apart. One person has at least only two bits of those. Each punk would call each other a poser.

We must accept that there was once a time when all of these were truly punk!

they were also inspired by the beatles and beach boys, big surf rock fans, and we shouldn't forget elvis.
