It's a great score, love it!!:)...But...If I was presented with this music for the first time and asked to guess who composed it. I would've, with out a doubt and confidently said James Newton Howard....

@LostinThought16 Thanks for that and for noticing my comment. I know that most films are just for amusement and tell a story or other. films like "Cowboys and aliens" , well its ok, but they don't speak to me at all and are soon forgotten. But "A single man" is a film one can take to heart and learn from. Dealing with human issues are what interests me and the profound emotions of this film helped me to empathise and somehow make me more human and to understand. See "The way back", its ok too.

Thats how I felt when i watched it. This movie knocked my hair back, it was unlike anything I've seen in a long time. Thank you for expressing exactly what I felt when I watched it, it was like waking up after a long sleep. Like you, I can't seem to describe the way it go to me, it was a remarkably honest portrayal of such a profoundly human dilemma, it spoke to me on such a fundamental level I found myself physically affected by it.

I usually don't respond to anything posted on replies or posts on any website, but this movie moved me profoundly enough to make me like your post, but ironically I hit dislike instead. Just so theres no confusion as to the nonexistent number of dislikes your comment or the video has had, i just want to say i love the movie, the music, and your comment, so disregard that dislike as a pointless mistake.

Just watched this film, 'A single man', where has it been hiding? What a find! My heart was so moved by it and it shows that we humans are not islands, we do need each other. I have now to add this ost to my list of music, it bowled me over. I cant seem to express how it got to me. I want everybody in the world to see it and listen with their hearts to the music, if it dont get to you then your dead inside. For Elliott my son, I love you. Dad
A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity, when for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I have lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present, and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be.
