Where did you see "too many people poorer than S'poreans"? UK? Japan? Singaporeans pay our PM a salary > leaders USA + UK + Japan + Germany + Spain + Italy + France + Canada (G8) *COMBINED*! Thus we are justified to compare our standard of living to these developed countries. 45 years have past, why are you still comparing Sg to 3rd world countries?

the point is not how many foreigners, but how to use this to serve singapore! nothing is perfect right or wrong. This video is irrational and extreme only if you blindly love PAP! No country in the world has imported so many FTrash that 45% (almost half!) of the poln are foreigners! Cannot use low birth rate as excuse. LKY is importing adults, not babies! Such action occurs only when people sell their country eg. 吴三桂引清兵入关. Just as the Chinese were justified to use dirty words on 吴三桂, I am correct to scold LKY: 李光耀引外人入关，是卖国老狗贼。

SDP can do a better job and the proof is in the thick thoughtful shadow budget that they published, detailing how every ministry should spend its budget. Pls read it FIRST and QUOTE it - don't dismiss without evidence.

PAP has internal democracy in the past with Ong Pang Boon, Toh Chin Chye etc CHECKING and BALANCING Lau Lee. Post-1990, after LKY force all of them to retire, he run a 1-man show in PAP, with extreme policies eg. FTrash.

If you love sg, u should abandon PAP!

you are free to voice your OPINION, but you are not free to make PERSONAL ATTACK (eg. calling me "crazy"). When you do that, I have the right to scold you *BACK* and call you a running dog.

I don't want PAP to "learn some lesson" only. I want an elected president to CHECK AND BALANCE PAP - that's the main job of elected president.

Tan Jee Say's desire is my desire: receive $500,000 salary and CHECK and BALANCE govt! That's better than Tony Tan who wants $4,000,000 to be a JIAK LIAO BEE!

When there is CHECK AND BALANCE, power will NOT belong to any one political party or politician, because no one party or politician has all the power. Power will belong to the PEOPLE. while two political parties compete to win our votes. That's much better for the country.

Thus, we should not completely replace PAP with Opposition. We should have BOTH pap and opposition CHECKING AND BALANCING each other. In this case, elected president's role is to CHECK AND BALANCE pap.

otherwise as i said, in the end we Got What we Wanted(some peanuts maybe)but Lost What We Had.

there always be "Prerogative",&it always belong to the little parties, even one day the opposition gain the most seats in parliament Prerogative still belong to "some people"maybe different people,maybe TJS or other big talker like Chen sui bian but won't be us.

Someone shall run SG unless he has a real parent's heart. I don't mind he has prerogative as long as Singaporean got our benefits.
