This movie is a collection of still images taken with my Canon G7 P&S Digital Camera while heading up to Ottawa for Thanksgiving.
The camera was mounted on a tripod sitting in the passenger seat. The CHDK (firmware hack) was loaded in the camera and the infinite interval script was set to take a photo once every 10 seconds.
The CHDK is a firmware hack that enables a plethora of features with various Digic II and III based cameras, including infinite interval shooting and enabling RAW shooting among other things. If you're not aware of this, check out there site: http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK

It's a diagonal shortcut. Although it seems longer, it takes less time, because of that diagonal shortcut.
It's more peaceful, and there are plenty of straight runs to pass, and there are also passing lanes in places.

My parents use to take #15 to get to Kingston. It's very scenic but it takes longer and I personally don't like driving along 2-lane highways.

Very nice! must have taken a lot of pictures! Why would you call Kingston boring? I am in Ottawa often visiting my daughter! I live in Kingston. I love both cities! I usually take #15 though. Even though I was involved in the preliminary geotechnical surveying of the 416/417 IC! Oh, and I was at the KISS concert this summer! Awsome! Thanks for the cool video!

I'm a Calgarian. But I still think Toronto is more where "sports come to die". The Maple Laughs have blown for four decades, nobody cares about the Argos, and the Craptors are a traveling circus, not a basketball team.
