  • Okey..i'm confused..On what album is this song..i can't find it...pleas answer me..=)

  • You can find it on Genesis Archives 2 or on the new Genesis '83 - '98 boxset that's out.

  • It could have been on IT album. The album could have used a couple extra songs. Only 8 songs on the album

  • The only reason it's not on the album is because they thought The Brazilian sounded more quirky and funky, plus they didn't want to have two instrumental songs on the album. Shame really would have made a brilliant album closer.

  • This version is slightly different from the B-Side Single I have on record! That's odd.

  • This version is the version from Genesis Archives Vol 2 3 cd set.

  • Such a pity that they never played that song live. Would have been a great drum duet!

  • @zalapski It does sound like an optimistic jam session, doesn't it? This is how I picture them, just playing this song forever.....

  • As I listen, I can almost see a picture of the three of them in the farm, jamming away with huge grins on their faces, having fun.

  • This should have been on IT rather than The Brazilian, IMO.

  • This was before CDs when albums needed to be shorter. There were three songs from the "Invisible Touch" sessions that didn't make the album: "Do The Neurotic," "Feeding The Fire," and "I'd Rather Be You." All three are excellent and would have made the cut in the CD era. Also, they were shooting for a pop album. This and "Feeding" are more prog than pop. "I'd Rather Be You" is more of a Collins type of pop number.

  • Me too.

  • You're welcome. :)

  • It is? Oh, I had no idea. It's been quite a long time since I've listened to that album. Thank you for clearing that up.

  • Actually, "Nursery Cryme" is shorter at 39:29.

  • It was recorded during the "Invisible Touch" recording sessions. That's the album that it was left off of. Personally, I favor this song over "The Brazilian".

  • My God, that is short.
