And here is my fourth video exercise I did during my Intro to Video Production Class.
Here, the idea was to create and show an emotion.
More Info:
For this assignment, the goal was to create an emotion. Now I'm not exactly a great actor but I did my best. In this video I wanted to create that emotion you get when you wake up in the morning knowing you have to go to work/school/etc. It's the kind of lazy yet depressed feeling. In the video I am outside enjoying this peaceful time until an alarm wakes me up from that dream. I realize this and continue off to school in that depressed state. Notice the contrast between the dream world and the real world. While one is bright and happy the other is dark and sad. I'm really fond of this video in particular because I rushed through it, but it was good practice nonetheless.

very nice!
Here's what I would have changed:
1. The dream I would have made it a bit more foggy (effect) or anything to let the viewer know it's a dream.
2. You're not showing any emotion, in fact your face is barely shown in the video when you wake up except for your eyes which really show nothing and neither does your body. You have to look sleepy, tired, annoyed.
Good job!

@Grotok Haha thanks. I wanted to avoid using effects in these exercises, and make it strictly editing and video work. To show the dream I tried to use the alarm clock to show viewers that I was dreaming. While my acting didn't give off enough emotion I was hoping the the music would provide the missing emotion. I rushed through the filming of this video so I hope my editing helped convey the message.
