I've had my Serenity Big Damn Replica for a few days now, so I'm starting to get a handle on some the details and effort that went into making this replica so amazing. This video shows how the lights work, and then I slowly meander over some of the outstanding detail on this ship.

  • This is pretty fantastic. Just put myself on the waiting list for the smaller one that went up today because I can't really justify the cost of this one myself.

Out of curiosity, what's that to the left and right of the model in these shots?

  • @ColonelSkills Thanks a lot. The thing on the left is the Lego Death Star. It is Lego kit #10188. On the right is my Iron Panda version of Large Martin (by 3A Toys). I did a two part unboxing video for the Large Martin. It's in my list of videos. Part 2 seems to be the one that most people like because the box is out of the way and I show the robot in detail.

  • i have to fave this vid...just freaking too awesome bro.

  • @tedan628 Thanks!! I'm really happy we went ahead and plunked down the cash on this one. It made me nervous, but every time I walk by it, it makes me smile.

  • this is stupendous. such a great looking piece. i think it was severly overpriced however. im glad someone bought it though, so he could share it with all of us on youtube!

  • @swivelchair1 Isn't it amazing what we will spend on an object of adoration? I agree it is overpriced, but at the same time, I feel like it was worth every penny paid. Haha, oh well, my wife and I really enjoy it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Now it's your turn to buy one of the QMx Enterprise Replicas ;) Those are only $5000 a pop.

  • @yamata86 well tats the saddest thing rite...i wish i cud do something like tat too..then start making money from hobby..tat's just hit the spot!!!

  • @tedan628 Thanks. It really is amazing to look at. I have a ton of respect for the men and women that put this thing together and painted it. It's just astounding. I wish I had even the smallest fraction of talent to build something like this on my own.

  • i m speechless bro.. this thing is more than IMpressive!!..its GODLIKE!!! congrats again on ur Ultimate collection.

  • @Fenlock56 When we ordered, it took 9 months total. We used the elayaway for 4 months (if I remember right), so no work was done on it while we paid through that 4 months. So really just 5 months of waiting to get into the build queue, building, and finally shipping.

I believe they have already built several of the Adama and Starbuck Editions of the Viper, so yours should ship soon. I can't wait to see your videos!!! I hope your Viper surpasses all your expectations.
