Starting to mow the 4 foot tall grass

This mower eats through the grass like its not even there. 11 hp Snapper RER. 41 inch cut. Took about 30 minutes to get through the front and back lawn of this abandoned house. This house sits just 2 doors down from mine and I am tired of driving past it everyday with it looking like this. Maybe if I take care of this property the community will start to chip in and make the whole street look nice. Maybe.

FYI you need to cut in a counter clockwise that way the cut grass will shoot out and you don't have to mow over the grass you just cut.

@2LateIWon Thanks. Normally i do mow in a counter clockwise motion, but this time I was in a hurry. I ended up changing about half way through to make it easier.
