WUSA (formerly WTOP & WDVM) was THE hit station back during the mid-late 1970s, lately because of the amazing journalists that made the Eyewitness News family: Gordon Peterson, Max Robinson, J.C. Hayward, Maureen Bunyan, Gordon Barnes (Weather), and Glenn Brenner (Sports).

@Net4Productions Klein& is a music production team that does mainly jingles for TV stations. This would have been either during or not long after their peak.
-
Klein&? What that?
-
the call sign is for WTOP-AM/FM

I see at the 2:20 mark, WDVM still had the General Electric PE-250 cameras left over from WTOP-TV days. Would anyone know what film chain they had - GE or RCA, and what model?

The first montage has to be from '78, because that was the last year the Redskins wore the gold pants--they switched to the current pants/jerseys in '79. The only remnant of the Pardee era!

You got any more of Eyewitness News Service promos?

Yes, he's in the previous promo as well. Gordon was the main anchor at 9 for over 20 years.
