The Young Punx perform their bossa nova meets drum and bass track "Drum and bacharach" live at the Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo, August 11th 2007. All sounds performed live, no sequencing (and fair number of wrong notes as their fingers slip in the blasting humid heat! :-)

  • Who plays the flute?...liiies.

  • The flute is on a multi sample triggered from the keyboard. The brass and bass sounds are in the same patch. The samples are cut out of the live performances on the original recording so sound very natural. You can here the wrong notes occasionally though that show it is live!!! :-)

  • so the drums are live too??????

  • Yes the drums are DnB samples (hits from Amen etc) triggered live from the V Drums.
