    Hi Don,

Greetings to you in WI from NJ.

I am playing from the arrangement for organ by William Strickland,

Copyright @ 1939,1949 by G. Schirmer, Inc. (ASCAP) New York. NY

This is readily available from any retail music store. If they don't have it in stock they can get it for you. Also, most on-line music sellers will have it.

They won't let me post a URL here but "sheetmusicplus" "dot" "com" has it.

    Kind regards,

    Wayne

  • ....one of my all time favorites. I just recevied the sheet music for this not long ago for Choir, it will be a lofty, ambitious project, but this piece has such an etherial feeling to it that is unmatched! I can't explain the feelings I get spiritually when I hear this sung. Well played Wayne.

  • Hi Ken,

Thanks for viewing and your kind comments. I love this piece - it is music that stirs the emotions and transcends words.

    Kind regards,

    Wayne

  • So beautiful. It's hard to see in the video, but I was watching when the melody is played by the feet (from about 3:45 to 5:00). Your technique is so fine that the melody sounds as smooth as silk. Bravo!

  • Brilliant. This reminds me of the Leonard Bernstein/ LA Philharmonic recording. Absolutely the best pipe organ version of this on YouTube. Stunningly beautiful in your incredibly talented hands/fingers/feet.

    5*'s - more if I could.

  • I have a piano arrangement of this in c major that I sometimes play as a prelude on the organ at church and it sounds good.

  • Thank you.
