X Plastaz' very first hit song from 1998 which first appeared on a compilation 'Chelea pina', its music video was released in 2000. At the time this simple video was a break from the norm as it was much more raw & adventurous than most rap videos out there in Tanzania, reflecting the 'in your face' styles of hip hop in northern Tanzania. A re-recording of this song was featured on the Maasai hip hop album, the original uses a beat from an Akinyele record ('Love me for free'). The song was recorded live in Mawingu Club (Clouds) and the video was shot under a bridge near the clock tower in Arusha. Sorry about the (web)quality, will try to locate the DV file some time soon.
