High Altitude RC Onboard

Shot from a Sig Rascal with a 110" wingspan powered by an OS Gemini 160. An altitude of 1,363' was achieved on this flight and was measured with a Winged Shadow altimeter.

You call that high altitude? Theres rc models on here flying higher than this. Save 9 minutes of your life by not watching this for that reason alone. Other than that it was a nicely done video for what it was.

Thanks for the comment Partok81. I respect your opinion. But the title is high altitude, not HIGHEST altitude. There will always be one faster, higher, heavier, lighter, stronger, prettier, bigger, etc. so it's no big deal to me. Thanks for watching. PS - All anyone has to do is read the description, if they think 1,363 isn't high then they don't have to watch and save their 9 minutes and 49 seconds.

What type camera ?

A samsung digimax S500. From walmart for about $125. With a 1GB card it will record a 14 ninute video. It was on a homemade mount inside the plane.

I have also a rascal 110 with OS Genimi 160, but not squab.

Could you make more detail images from the mounting Gemini 160, so I can study it.

I really liked the taxi out to the runway. It made it feel like you were actually in a plane. Right now I'm putting a camera on my E-Flite Mini Ultra Stick.
