Ginnie Springs is home to Devils Cave system and is one of the most visited caves in the world. Gin clear water, over 23,000 feet of surveyed passage still going, and unique geology attracts divers of all experience levels, from all over the globe, to the quaint town of High Springs Florida. They come to penetrate the darknessexplore a tunnel they've never seen, and dive the 72 degree, warm, clear water for hours. We produced this short HD video in March 2008. Cave conditions around Florida weren't ideal but the river that was flooding into Devils Ear provided some unbelievable shots, and we still returned with some beautiful footage from outside, and Inside the Devil.

My wife and I dove at Ginnie before I had a camera and we are not cave certified nor do we wish to be so thank you for showing us what is in that system.

@172196aml The tannin in the river water (from decaying leaves, etc.) mixing with the perfectly clear spring water in combination with the sunlight produces that amazing swirling red.

@stationr This may be a stupid question but why is the water red

First class photography--you have a great feel for composition and creatively using the darkness of the cave environment.
