President Obama is holding an LGBT fundraiser in NYC, but has not yet publicly endorsed marriage equality. We're offering him reasons, submitted via Twitter, why he should "evolve already" and support marriage equality.

Loving v. Virgina and the discriminatory DOMA have shown that marriage IS a federal matter. Please, Mr. President, choose to go down in history as a great and fair leader, not as the pawn of bigots.

Priority 1 - get Obama re-elected. Then, I believe his evolution will be complete, without prompting.

President Obama obviously supports same sex marriage. It's probably something he strongly agrees with, however he can't openly say it or endorse it due to the current political climate. It's all politics. He knows what the LGBT wants, and he knows when it's politically practical to make that happen. If certain actions happen too quickly, it could set LGBT rights/civil rights back years.
