  • This is the perfect sports car. They finally dropped some of the mid-80s styling ques and gave the car a sleek but muscular look, austere, but very elegant. Its relatively affordable, and screams refinement unlike the vette, yet has everyday function unlike the ferrari. A motor that you get to wring out, significant handling improvements, and a beautiful yet not ostentatious interior, befitting an upscale sports car. This is the one to own.

  • @Johnnytotal Well, Chris i think was never a professional racing driver like Jason Plato or Tiff Nedell from Fifth Gear. The reason we like him so much is because of his reviews. They are fun and energetic! If you are an EVO Magazine's reader like me

you know what i mean. He is like Jeremy Clarkson. When he wants to be fun, he is and when he doesn't he is a real thrusted reviewer. And i almost forgot! I have no idea, why did he quit or whatever has happend.

  • @colin5577 The envelope is just bigger now. Same thrills, more speed, more refinement.

  • What made the 911 a success was that despite its inherent shortcomings, humble origins and stratospheric pricing, it was ruthlessly effective in the right hands and was loved and used properly by those that actually knew something about cars and driving. People who didn't know much about anything took note and bought a 911 because it implied that they 'had a clue' as well as plenty of cash.

Porsche seems happy to leave the opinion formers behind now, which is a shame.

  • its exactly the same as a 911 except the stearing is worse

  • @TheFreakyGames

    Now on Pistonheads!!!!

  • @RicardoSS85 Nope. The new 911 just isn't very good. Looks odd in the flesh, handles, sort of (what it does has nothing to do with me though), and doesn't go anywhere near hard enough - no torque. After a day I was bored. Zero sense of occasion.

  • What the heck was that all about!.......0:11 - 0:14. ha ha ha, Its not an edge of your seat action movie with a shaky camera, it a car review.

  • @blackmancer same thing

  • a beetle with Aston Martin rear lights lol.

  • @blackmancer 991 is Porsche's internal designation for this new platform/body style, i.e., the latest generation. But the car is the latest version of the 911 series -- the iconic sports car that Porsche has been producing for nearly 50 years.
