  • @Phenomate Animals as leaders ^^, a mate of mine watches his videos every minute of the day, amazing player.

  • @EOHRyan Tosin abasi, he loves guthrie. check him out.

  • @foxtrotalex I would kill to see that

  • Guthrie is the man! In my top 5 for sure!

  • @feverlead I think that Soda is called Beer!

  • guthrie amazes me very much so, he picks his soda up off the floor plays the bass part seth plays and then puts his soda back on the floor lol flawless

and the cream lick was really smooth and fits perfectly im gonna have to try that.

  • @foxtrotalex i think guthrie needs to invite satch to his own g3

  • haha there is a crossroad part on 1:00

  • btw there's an R in guffry

  • Thanks to the internet and youtube there are more great technical guitar players than ever before. seems like everybody is awesome these days but what sets these people apart? Guthrie shreds without going over your head, almost like a horn player. He takes time to breathe. Yngwie is awesome and has been around for ever, however I can't listen to him for more than 15 minutes. Govan I could listen to all day!! To each their own

  • @brainpolice2 Yes good spot there, have not heard that for a few years! lol...PLUS he got away with it!

  • 1:05 - 1:09 he quotes Cream's "Crossroads". Slick!

  • @brymacbluesband

    Allan Holdsworth too.

  • @yourmomtwice

    Allan Holdsworth?

    Bret Garsed?

    Bill Conners?

    Frank Gambale?

    Joey Tafolla?

    Vinnie Moore?

    Tony Macalpine?

    Etc etc.

  • Thanks UncleRob.

  • well said

  • From a technical mastery standpoint, he is better than any of them.

  • Simply one of the best NEW faces to comes since Hendrix/Halen/Rhoads/SRV/......Govan? I think so ;)

  • But Guthrie is a Brit and he is ours..thanks Guthrie...

  • jesus. c'mon, play the applause at the end, adds to the good vibe.

  • 2:49

i just got a high score on my gameboy

  • thats the best version of that ive seen him play!! wicked!

    thanks for posting!!

  • OwnedRL, I don't think so. If you're referring to Johnson, Malmsteen, Petrucci, then you should know that these guys were already quite popular and well known in the guitar community. A guy like Malmsteen has actually been around for a long long time and in the past even had the attention of mainstream people. I think he was already 'big' before Vai or Satch even really got their careers from the ground.

  • Does he gets blasted??
