Just like i promised. So what shall happen in this chapter, hmm. . .
Chapter 8
And Tim drove me home. He Didn;t mention Mike, which was great. He was just being Tim, and I liked that about him. Maybe HE could fill that place in my heart. . .
Meg: THAT;S JUST THE WAY WE ROLL!
Tim: [laughing] Why are we listening to Radio Disney again?
Meg: Because they have sweet songs.
--Like Whoa, by Aly and Aj came on.
Tim: Life is good I can;t complain.
Meg: Your image overwhelms my brain.
Tim: And it feels good. Good good.
Meg: That sounds wrong. . [laughs]
Tim: You have a dirty mind, Meg.
Tim would rarely call me Meg, that;s weird. But, whatever, he dropped me off in front of my house. I said a quick thank you, and he told me to call him whenever I needed someone to talk to. Maybe I would give Nick a break for once. I threw my old-school messenger bag onto my bed. And so the homework for the school year starts. What to do first? Child psychology? Nooo, like I said before, I;m not that interested in little kids. No offence little people. Literature, I like that. So I had to read one chapter of Great Expectations. I read this back in Freshman year, but now I have to read it for a grade.
**FLASHBACK- Junior Year**
Meg: So, why were you late to school this morning Mister? [laughs]
Mike: [puts his arm around Meg] I was finishing my Science paper, and you know how Mr. Scott does NOT like things late.
Meg: [laughs] Sooo true
Tim: [running up quickly to Mike] Thanks, Mike. I really needed that this morning, man.
Then Tim ran to his parent;s car, since he just turned 16 and got his permit.
**End Flashback**
That moment randomly popped into my head, but why? I don;t know. But what did Tim mean? Mike was late that day, and so was Tim. What could he have done for him? My house phone rang, and I looked at the caller ID. It was Tim, weird timing.
Tim: Hey, Meg. Just wanted to make sure you;re ok.
---Aww! That;s so sweet.
Meg: Yeah, thanks. I;m just doing some homework.
Tim: Fun. Lemme guess, Literature?
Meg: You obviously eavesdropped on my conversations with Mike.
Tim: Haha, nope. Mike told me. And I noticed your Great Expectations book falling out of your bag on the way to your house.
Meg: That WOULD give it away.
And we talked again, like we did earlier that day. Things felt right, natural if you will. And the weird part is, I think I was falling for Tim.
