Iv got nothing against the queen. I just dont understand why we should respect her so much. Shes never done anything just cause she was born into that role. I only respect those that have gained my respect. Im sorry but thats how i feel.

I also dont like how the origional( dunno if they cut they out) lyrics of the BRITISH anthun said "crush the rebelious Scots". I think that is the main reason this anthum is not used in Scottish football matches

The song's had multiple reversions. One version of it said "crush the rebellious Scots" because at the time, Scotland was rebelling from England until the countries joined under the Act of Union in 1707.

In context, it was reffering to Jacobites and it also talks about Marshall Wade who has been dead for hundreds of years. It was never part of it then and is not now. Only in the minds of some foolish scottish nationalists it is.
