I haven't been doing much of anything with this channel lately so I figured this might be a fun way to get it off its death bed as well as a nice way to get everyone psyched for season four. This is open to anyone and everyone, so don't shy away just because you're not an experienced vidder; this contest is meant to be challenging for vidders of all experience levels. If this goes well, I'll be hosting one of these a year; so get to crackin', people :D I'm looking forward to seeing what you all create!

RULES?
* Your video must be made specifically for this contest. I will check upload dates.
* The video must be centered around Leverage... obviously.
* When submitting your video, please do so by video response (to THIS video - anytime, not just on the deadline) and have [LFVC] in the title.
* In your video description, please link to the contest and state which theme you are doing.
* Don't copy anyone else's work! Not only is it rude, but you'll be disqualified.
* You may submit ONE VIDEO PER THEME (so three videos total).
* The video must be at least 30 SECONDS in length.

THEME #1 -- THIS CRAZY FEELING
The emotional challenge; create a video based around your emotion of choice (happiness, sadness, jealousy, anger, etc). You are only allowed to vid ONE emotion in your video, so stick with it throughout as best you can.

THEME #2 -- LYRICS? WHAT LYRICS?
Who said you needed lyrics to tell a story? For this challenge, you must use a song (or a part of a song) that has no lyrics. Sung vowel sounds (like 'ohh', 'ahh', etc) is fine, just no actual words! You may use voice overs to your heart's content, just as long as it's not a voice over of a character (*cough*Eliot*cough*) singing.

THEME #3 -- WHICH WAY ARE YOU GOING?
For this challenge, play with different speeds (fast forward, slow motion, backwards, pause) as much as you can. You must do each pace (the four I mentioned) at least TWICE in your video. There is no maximum amount.

Trying to be preemptive, here. If you have any other questions not mentioned here, please feel free to ask in a comment or a private message.
* Why the themes?
In my opinion, they're more fun. It's a chance to challenge yourself and do something you might not do normally. Besides, I wanted to make this a little more interesting than your regular cut and dry vidding contests. Or maybe I just wanted to make your life hell, you'll never know.
* What fandoms are I allowed to use for crossovers?
Any fandom that has real people as actors (movies, tv shows, etc). Cartoons are a bit too out there for me though.
* What does "out of genre" mean?
Leverage is categorized as a dramedy (drama/comedy). Basically your video would make the show look like it was from another genre (sci-fi, horror, sitcom, etc). Using other show's theme songs is totally encouraged and will not make your video fall under the "crossover" category unless characters from said show appear in the video.
* YouTube sucks and blocked my video/took out the audio! What do I do?
Either see how to remove the block (posted in video responses) or upload your video to another hosting site and send me a private message linking me to it.

Crossover and Out of Genre could almost be their own themes, right?

@KlvnBrks Probably, but they can also fit easily with any of the other themes. It just depends on how you want to approach it.
