The only difference I can see is that the one used for quilting the quilt works better on the thicker batting. I use the regular walking foot most of the time as I do paper piecing. It grabs the fabric and paper for a better fit.
I just bought a Bernina. I ordered a walking foot, but I didn't know there were two different kinds of walking feet... a regular one and a quilting one. Can you tell me what the "big difference" i please?
I use Signature in this video. I have used Connecting Threads with great success also. I am currently trying out using Isacord Embroidery Thread as my decorative threads and it is working out great. It is a shinier finish.
