This clip is from a run from Hawleyville, CT to Plattsburgh NY with a Volvo 460 excavator. In this clip we see a bridge crossing on the NYS Thruway crossing a weight restricted bridge in Catskill, NY. Due to the 160k lb weight of the load we were required to cross the bridge at 5mph with no other traffic on the bridge. The State Trooper held traffic back and stayed with us until we got back up to cruising speed.

Yes it is dangerous... that's why we have a NY State Trooper behind us holding traffic back. We can't pick and choose the way we go we have to follow a state issued permit... FYI. Hey 2fan...pay attention to the comments on the video....the pilot car driver explains whats happening...the state of NY demands that a machine and tractor of this weight must cross the bridge at 5MPH with a State Trooper escort to keep traffic back...don't comment on things you don't know anything about...especially if you do not understand ENGLISH
