  • then thirty trillion would not be very much either.

    try thirty septillion dollars

  • @saint27573 Congratulations, you are one person in a million who sees that paper money is bullshit

  • @DSXmachine Try buying a sandwich with zimbabwe dollars; paper money is worthless

  • (In a crisis, gold just as US dollar, government bonds and euro can become worthless, a person may be willing to give up lots of expensive gold jewelry just to get enough to eat just like germany in 1930s)

  • If I have gold or gold stocks, I want to convince you to buy gold so I can sell my gold at a profit.

  • "Buy real money Gold, Silver and Copper!"

What is gold useful for at a high price? Silver still has some industrial use, and copper has lots of uses.

Gold can be mined much faster when worth more, and also have bubbles, such as dropping to half value in 2000 after peaking in 1980.

    I suggest:

Avoid debt, only buy what you can with cash you have.

Have enough whole wheat flour or other forms of cheap food and some bottled water to survive, with similar idea to fire insurance.

  • oh shit the tought police? damn

  • In Utah, gold and silver ARE money, and they can use it in the supermarkets and to pay their state taxes. All states used to be like that, and many states are now considering going back to this system. P.S. In Utah, they can use currency too.

  • @operagost Try buying groceries with it at Safeway.

  • @DSXmachine Gold is money.
