Riley is filled with regret over his illicit night of passion with his aunt Nicola, not least because he still has a girlfriend. When Heather asks him to move in with her, he leaps at the opportunity to get away from his difficult family situation. However, when he goes home to pack, Nicola turns on the charm once again and Heather is disgusted to walk in on them kissing. She dumps him in no uncertain terms. With nothing left to cling to, will Riley have the strength to turn Nicola away?
Worried that all her friends are growing up faster than she is, Bridget gets confused about her feelings for Ringo. Ringo is left equally confused as Bridget swings wildly from pushing him away to climbing all over him. Nicola advises Bridget to stop taking it all so seriously but Rachel worries that Bridget is taking this to mean that she should just get over it and throw herself headlong into an intimate relationship. Despite Rachel's warnings, Bridget throws herself at Ringo. She's stunned and hurt when he rejects her. Fed up of the mixed messages, he suggests it was better when they were just friends and ends their relationship.
Carmella confesses that she has run up $20,000 worth of debt on her credit card. Marco admits that he's still working for his family business and that they just can't stretch themselves any further. He tries to sell his half of the General Store to Elle but, realising that he is key to the business, Elle offers him a loan instead. Carmella despairs that they are at the mercy of her old enemy but Elle swears that there are no strings attached. Marco stands firm: Carmella may not like it but she got them into debt so now she'll have to live with the consequences.
Oliver is thrilled to be reunited with his beautiful daughter Chloe and Rebecca catches Elle grinning at the sight of the Yummy Daddy. Although she beats a hasty retreat from the cosy scene, Elle finally admits that she has feelings for Oliver and the two of them prepare to celebrate their official reunion.
