lol, you call it a Surefire flashlight, but you swapped everything out that had anything to do with the Surefire you originally started with, LOL. it is now a Solarforce with a XM-L drop-in.

One begs the question, why exactly did you but the 6P?

@xUdieToox It really depends on what kind of driver the LED is using. I couldn't tell you with just information on the batteries and led alone. I do know however that two rechargeable 123's will not be able to drive the XML its full potential bc of there low capacity=low drive Amperage

hey dude !!! theres a video on youtube on how to customize a 6p to use 18650 batteries. looks pretty easy to do. why pay surefire prices when you cant use the body. video is called " how to convert surefire 6p to 18650 battery". also buy the real batteries on ebay they cost around 17 dollars each, there lithium powered and there pretty strong. dont get the cheap chinese 4 dollar one's.

@mobious212 LOL, I think I've heard of that video, considering I made it. seriously though, I have AW lion batteries and Trustfire batts and I can't tell a difference, and haven't had any explode on me.
