Whats the point with this thing?

You don't HAVE to shoot it underhand, people. It seems to me he is demonstrating the momentum you can generate with the flip of a few fingers using kinetics. You can apply the technique to your normal jump-shot, passes, etc, while adding another NEW shot to your arsenal. Have an open mind, people.

You realize that the defender would block your shot every time if you shoot like this right?

@Hybrid1207 Sure, if you ONLY CAN layup. 3p layup is just one of hundred power 3fz shots. In the real games, you can effectively combine 3fz layup with jump shots, fake, drive breakthrough, and fast breaks (1on0, 2on1, 3on2 and 4on3). It is more dynamic than floaters, much closer (jump-in) therefore more accurate than regular 3-p jump shots, and very potent with fake/pass combinations. It simply makes defense harder, more area to cover. Because no body has done it, It's hard to imagine its uses.
