Lawmakers across the country -- and even in Arizona -- are making efforts to ban cell phone use while driving. They hope to cut down on distractions that can lead to accidents and death. But when it comes to the driver's seat of a police car, law enforcement officers these days are using more technology than ever at their dashboards. Some motorists question whether the technology that's meant to enhance patrols and public safety is actually creating distractions at the wheel and putting risk on the roads. KOLD News 13's Teresa Jun found out just how distracting it is for officers.

  • So let me get this right, they have more accidents that was not attributed to the dash computer. sounds to me like adding the computer is going to add more. if I use there math that just admitted too!
