Blythe, CA Jan 21, 2010 -- Close by tornado

In a starbucks parking lot, near the tornado that crossed through Blythe and I-10 causing damage to houses, wide spread power outages, and overturning trucks.

Stopped here to wait out the storm while traveling.

The video totally doesn't do it justice. I can't believe how strong the winds were... Hit like a brick wall... It was fairly calm, and then.. BAM. I hear the town is still recovering?

Ahhh, just a normal rainstorm for Nebraska! Nahh, all kidding aside.....I've been chasing the midwest for over two decades. Go out for a month each spring and chase from the Dakotas south to Texas Panhandle. You guys got yourself into what we call "the core". Or..."you got cored" in otherwords. In your vid, when you begin driving down the freeway, and looking straight down the road in the distance, those dark lowerings is what chasers try to get themselves close to. That's where the tornado is.
