@fullmetal891 I think that the point is that this want for whiter skin stems from the imperialist hierarchy of privilege. The repercussions of this system is an inferior-complex by south asians,blacks etc. Just because white people are `talking shit about other skin colours there is still implicit racism. and frankly there is a difference between a white person tanning and a brown person bleaching.

i dont think skin lighteners should be band and i think people should stop complaining about people lightening their skin cuz its is some ones personal choice weather they want to bleach or not it might harm your skin but if some one's willing to take that risk let them. in Hollywood and regular america lots of people tan and sun beds can cause skin cancer and causes your skin to wrinkle faster but i dont see no one complaining about that.
