@edcampion19 Huh. I see, never said that i could do better though. Also, even though silly, MGS storyline holds it's own ground in gaming world - and the reviewer should keep that in mind when he reviews a game. Not to compare it to a book or a movie, but to it's kind; the games. Thing is, not only the MGS story that makes valid and relevant points of today's world, but also the way it's being told. The philosophical narrative.

@OnlyLifeMatters It's ridiculous of you to accuse the writer of Bastion. Thats the guy in the review of being intellectually limited. MGS' story is silly, its great but pretty non nonsensical.

Gamespot seriously, how is this not good as the regular edition of MGS2? It's the same fucking game, just with extra game modes put in

@LanIost Of course it's outrageous and unbelievable story, no one denies that. But if you can take it as a tale, a little story, it can work on many levels. If you take it seriously...it is just another game.

You're not really being all that honest here. He didn't say the story WAS that, he said it was AT TIMES like that.
This is also true. I remember in High School thinking the story was great but now, at 26, I would have to agree.
It's just like how we thought Final Fantasy 7 had a great story. It does, but it's also broken in a LOT of ways.
And before you try to invoke ideas of me hating or not understanding Kojima I'm going to note that I played the MSX MG and Snatcher.

"Story is bizarre, weird, doesn't make sense". Hell, MGS story is one of the best ones out there - no, it is THE best. It's not Konami's and Kojima's fault if you, sir, are so intellectually limited ^^

I played MGS1 on my PSP and loved it and I have just seen this video, why do they always give something away! I didnt want to know metal gear didnt get destroyed! What a shitty company! They should be called Spoilerspot!
