SELF-ORGANIZING URBANISM.mov

In the challenge of breaking the canonic city grid of blocks and streets and spread density in height. We defined the bocks as matter and the agents responsible to create the new organization watter. Utilizing the same principles as the natural formation of stalactites (transportation of matter by watter), we developed a code in processing....giving a series of qualities to the existing grid blocks (matter) as individuals and as a collective (mass, gravity, cohesion) agents (watter) were inserted to create circulations flows seeking the areas of greatest density in order to forece friction with the matter. The ultimate idea would be to create a jerarchy of agentes responsables for each of the infrastructural networks in the city.
