This brotha was tight. Him, Smokey, Sam Cooke, Teddy Pendergrass, those guys were true artist . They could sing without music. The clowns you see today no nothing about being a gentleman, showmanship, or even how to dress. These guys truly sang from their soul, something these young cats know nothing about.

I agree. BUT, there are other forms of legitimate music as well. Don't hate. But, let's admit, Donny was one BAD Mother F(&^#%#$ (to use the parlance of the day). He was scary! Much respect to this great artist! I am doing my best to spread his name. )

Wow, its awesome to hear him sing this song. I did not realize Donny Hathaway sang this song and it is so moving and a classic.
