3ds Max 2010 is 3D design software that mostly used to develop games of special effect for movies.
But now you can use it to export a design (a house or furniture etc.) to Second Life, by exporting
"Prim data" (or "primitives", Second life objects). This is part 4, import prim information from a .txt file in to SL (note-card) and build your design...

  • hi, today I bought 3D STUDIO MAX SCRIPT + IMPORT, I've followed all the instructions but when I created the object even a second later it disappears .. I wanted to understand what, if anything I'm wrong thanks

  • @ladynumerino if you tried in a sandbox, it could be auto-return. The script is ok,

  • how do you upload actual sculpts in stead of simple prims?

  • @TheExcelboyz try to mak a "sculpt map" it a image you have to upload to SL and add to the sculpt prim...

  • can u please show me the way to export from 2007 autocad to 3dsmax thnx

  • @hail2127 you can't. For Autocad you need to use "Henshin V" from AI Designs (googele it)

  • @RawrRoar07 for other general help go to my website and post a comment there... thank you

  • @RawrRoar07 its just how you design it within 3d max, if you can make a roof with less prims, do so. you can't make mega-prims with my script (limited to 10 meters) for floors use a "chess board" pattern within 3d max. It easier to design inner walls that way.

  • Question. Can you factor in a prim limit for the rezzer? In this video the rezzer made the roof yet it made it in so many prims that this method would be impractical. 25 prims for a roof when I would only need 3 or 4? (Including megaprims that is)

  • @AdeonWriter for sculpt..?? for professional sculpting i recommend blender or 3d max or Maya but i don't have much experience with sculpt. still looking for "easy to use" scuplt software..
