I don't think so........The 76ers wouldn't have swept them, but NOTHING was stopping the sixers that year.......Moses was the difference. Dawkins/Caldwell Jones didn't make Kareem work on the defensive end like Moses.......

@8283doc ...you are correct sir!!...no doubt the greatest NBA intro ever...i love this !...great trumpet section!!...i remember this back in the day..they used this same theme during the 1983 playoffs as well, up until the finals when they changed the theme

this is my all-time favorite nba intro. i haven't really been into the nba since it left cbs. the nba is not the same anymore. bird, magic, doc j., i miss that era.

Hi kimv020887, I've been a Doctor J fan since his ABA days (more precisely since the 75-76 season), and I've seen all those CBS intros since. But as I said, the best one to me was the one for the 1981-82 season and the 1982-83 season (the intro changed with the commencement of the Finals that season). I just liked the music and the way Dick Stockton reviewed the previous games leading up to the televised game.
