My engine is louder during idle due to my engine rebuild which consists of Arias low compression racing pistons 8.6:1 verse a stock max that's 10:1. with Brian Crowle Pro lifters, Comitec Head gaskets, APR Head Bolts and lots more. Low compression pistons are better when boosted. After a while you get used to the loader idle sound and the trade off is awesome fun power on the street.
