I worked on the car this spring for several weeks before the SAE Alabama event. We completely redesigned the rear suspension with zero scrub and relocated the engine, rear axle, and transmission to accomodate a Blaster 200 6 speed transmission. it worked really slick! lemme tell ya it was nice having 5 forward gears (6th gear was busted) and reverse. we eventually ate the counter gear in the transmission and replaced it with a polaris H-L-N-R tranny. It worked well but not as good as the other1
Just a heads up; you guys might want to put a tubing sweep and body panel which goes completely above the drivers toes. I know tech is anal about small things like that and it would suck to have to fix it at competition. Looking good though! -UA Baja #82/Illinois
