What I like with DT albums is there is always one of them who fits with my mood.

Anger, Adrenaline: Train of Tought
Adventure : Octavarium, Change of season
Glory, Triumph:Images and words
Confusion, suspens: Scenes from my memory, SDOIT
Smooth attitude, relaxing: Falling into infinity
All of them: Black clouds and silver linings

It's useless to complain,fanboy.You known that is damn laughable hearing Portnoy screaming with anger something so ridiculous as "everyone survived'.The lyrics don't match the feeling.Simple as that.And by the way,i'm not saying the albums sucks,just some lyric parts - as this one.

I was aiming it at this "DT recent lyrics are garbage compared to the previous ones,like Learning to live,for example.
The only decent lyric that he wrote in this album is Best of Times(and that just because it talks about his dead father) "

Not only did you put down some very very smart lyrics you said "and that just because it talks about his dead father" What the fuck man, have some god damn fucking respect.

and actually making #6 on the Billboard matters to him too. idk how u can the lyrics are garbage. does it not create a setting and a story? does it not involve characters in a plot? it most certainly does. and even if he wanted to growl, so what? they're still a phenomenal band.
