How A Blind Chick Uses A Computer

PLEASE READ!

Freetaught films me as I'm using the computer. No one better ask me again how I can type, if I'm "really" blind. I have ten fingers that still work perfectly...

The monitor is turned on so that you can see what goes on on screen. I usually don't have it turned on. It is only there for Freetaught's convenience

Woah, you can use a computer without a monitor... Thats... Awesome! Now if my monitor breaks i know what to do! :D

BTW i have a question, how does that text reader program handle comments with bad grammar or misspellings? or even them people who use numbers instead of letters sometimes? The ones ive tried in the past have been pretty bad but i haven't used one in about 8 years so im sure they have gotten better lol

@element1988 You can actually set up a lexicon, I have done that with the most common 1337 speak and smileys. The program will then read whatever you've told it this should be read as...

The part of your chocolate brown shirt that goes around the back of your neck was readily apparent for most of the video, it never occurred to me that you might be topless. This is really interesting, never knew stuff like this existed for blind people or anyone for that matter. Now I hope scientist are working on computers that interface directly with the brain.
