I believe in a metaphorical flood. Which means, I support the compelling scientific evidence that it never literally happened. The biblical account is metaphor.

  • Your mind isn't cre8iv in any way!! 4500 years is plenty of time for the diversity of all the human and animal population, you just WISH it wasn't. Tell me how marine life fossils are found on mountain tops all over the world, without using words like, uplift, leonardo da vinci, seabeds, and so on.

  • @ironman197268 A flood cannot explain the presence of marine shells on mountains because floods erode mountains and deposit their sediments in valleys. Other evidence, such as fossilized tracks and burrows of marine organisms, show that the region was once under the sea. Seashells are not found in sediments that were not formerly covered by sea. 4500 years is not nearly enough time if you understand genetics and taxonomy.

  • @cre8ivmind Floods erode mountains Huuhhh? A global flood is what pushed up major mountain ranges bringing the fossils with them that are found on their tops. Genetics and taxonomy...Please, the Earths HUMAN population alone went from1 billion to almost 7 billion in just over 200 years.

  • @ironman197268 You totally misunderstood. The Earth's human population has NOTHING to do with genetics or taxonomy.

  • @cre8ivmind I didn't misunderstand anything, you misunderstood me. If the human population can grow at that rate, the humans and animals that came off the Ark, could repopulate, and migrate to all parts of the Earth in 4500 years easily. What's your obsession with this genetics and taxonomy stuff?

  • @ironman197268 Genetics and taxonomy are important because it takes millions of years to get all the diversity that we have. I don't know what your take on the biblical "kinds" are, but whatever it is, it is incompatible with our current knowledge of genetics and taxonomy. There are millions of described species, and not all of them could have fit on the ark. Creationists tend to say there were fewer "kinds" but that microevolution allowed for more diversity later.

  • @ironman197268 The idea of "kinds" producing more species later is wrong because we have countless examples of different species that cannot interbreed that creationists claim have micro-evolved from the same "kind" that had descended from the ark.

  • @cre8ivmind I'd like to know what creationists says a dog micro evolved into a coyote. Speciation is all in the DNA man.

  • This has got to be the WORST global flood video rebuttal ever!! Why would The Bible give specific dimensions for the size of the Ark, if it's just a metaphor? A local flood is absolutely insane, why did God have Noah build an ark instead of just moving everybody away from this "so called" local flood? Special diets? You obviously don't know your Bible, check out Genesis 1:29-30.

  • @petercourt the point is that the bible is true the few things that make it seam unreal is the fact that the flood happend and noahs ark literally took place
