  • Awesome, looks like LSVs lost some weight ^^

  • There's no way Wizards themselves were fine with this. Hasbro are basically greedy mofos, that's all

  • I hail from Western Canada (a country that gets screwed by wizards/hasbro's trading policies) and there are seldom if ever PTQ's held within a viable distance for me to attend. This above all else is why I'm purely a Casual Player (the other being that at the competitive level you seldom see variety or at least that's my understanding). If the qualifiers where more evenly distributed throughout the world I think I'd care more about the PlanesWalker points and ProTour gibberish.

    Great Show Guys

  • the price listing LIES!

  • This is what happens after WotC stars being run by jews

  • I'm excited to see LSV. I'd be pissed if it was some no name instead of him.

  • Guy who grinds into Worlds by Top 32ing a ton of GPs could actually be an interesting story. Probably not a good thing because of the limited Worlds slots, but it could actually be an interesting story - especially if Mr. Grinder doesn't scrub out at Worlds.

  • aww shit LSV and palo might have to find real jobs!! oh noes!!!

  • I am an average magic player who has been playing seriously since Lorwyn - I always want to keep up with the personalities in magic because they see combos and patterns that I miss - I would like to see them get rewarded (or at least compensated slightly) for being smart and interesting enough to rise to the top of a pile of really smart people.

Wizards - take care of those that make people look deeper and try harder.

All legit competitions should have pros or it seems petty and irrelevant

  • I think people are wrong if there saying it's not aimed at competive people. My store we have people coming in from all different walks of life and from different places from Malaysia to Dubai from 20k/y people to 100k+/y. We have people chatting Neman when they see the U/B deck smashing someone before the FMN. Wolf run is the top topic not someones marriage or other life related things. You take the Worlds you take our feeling of ligitmacy away. Competive it's a way of life.

  • "hope for da best" -lsv

  • I'd be much more interested in coverage for the new version of Worlds than for Worlds how it used to be, or any other event for that matter. I understand Wizards wanting an event like the old Invitationals as the Best of the Best battles to crown a Best Player in Magic each year.
