@edcontact - Hey, Ed! Hell with all that - you got it, jazz ain't about "right" and "wrong" keys, right? I bet most jazz cats know most tunes in at least 4-6 keys if not all 12! Bird learned Cherokee in all 12. You soundin good.

I Must say you can play and solo your ass off...excuse the langauge...that tone quality that texture is great. i play trumpet and Im working towards that sount and that extreme range...love it man keep on..

the sound you make is like magic i think... its really good.
i play the bari and alto sax in jazz band and tenor sax in marching and concert band.i am trying to be as good as i can be as of practice but i am really good though i think.

Thanks for your comment. Practice as much as you can without burning out. I used to be more methodical about practicing but now simply pick it up when I feel in the mood.

Yes, you're right, I'm not playing it in the published key. The background tracks I located were in this key so ... that's how I played it. Good catch. P.S. My trumpet teachers always told me to practice tunes in different keys. :)
