If the American public actually believes reality tv is "real", then it's no wonder everyone was gullible enough to think this was too.

Disney knows how easily people can be suckered, so they staged this to create a buzz on YouTube. They must laugh at all the comments from people who fell for this. The power over mindless lemmings, aka, the American people.

It doesn't bug me that its fake, I still think its a fun stunt just like any parade at Disney, I just get irked at how so many commenters seem to take it personally that it wasn't real. Its not the end of the world, folks!

There's a much better video on showing that its fake called "Disney Proposal is fake!!!" by AkumuSeizon (its right under the "Suggestions').

Plus Jezebel ran an article titled "“Disneyland Musical Marriage Proposal”: Magical & Romantic, Or Lamest Scam Ever?" that cites Erika (the actress here) as having a different BF in real life.

Santa should be sround in approx 4 months if someone wants to try and catch some footage of him too, to which you can disprove his existance. untill then i shall maintain my current mindset.
