Also don't pretend like someone saying fucker on the internet implies they have anger issues, you're sadly mistaken. What I have an issue with is people who know nothing about open wheel racing trying to tell me what open wheel racing needs to do to improve safety.
What I'm disputing is that these people are hillbillies as you call them. Most rednecks follow racing true, but they're the actual fans. Most of the people who follow racing for the crashes aren't rednecks. My other issue with your comment was you used"you people" as an umbrella term for all racing fans.
First off fucker, don't tell me what entertains me, I enjoy competitive racing not 15 car pile ups. Secondly, IndyCar rarely has serious accidents, most crashes in IndyCar consist of people rubbing against each other. Rarely do you see a car go airborne and even more rarely does somebody die. Lastly, even in NASCAR most people don't enjoy seeing crashes. You make it sound like NASCAR fans love violence, which they don't. NASCAR has 100,000+ people a race and very few fights happen.
Did you ever bother to look at Dan Wheldon's sponsors? William Rast (designer clothing) and Bowers & Wilkins (high end sound systems), those companies don't strike me as wanting to market to hillbillies. Not only that but Dan Wheldon loved ovals, if he knew people were wanting to ban ovals in his "memory" he'd tell them to fuck off.
@boboboGOAT Your an idiot! I'm not a hillbilly and I watch racing..........how can indy car racing be a hillbilly sport when the majority of their drivers are from other countries? learn more about a sport or anything else before you speak on it!
